An exploration of draping techniques with the goal to create a unique silhouette without the distraction of color or print.
Point of inspiration started with the principles of physics as a descriptor for the growth of feelings. Gravity as the force which brings two objects together. Velocity of attraction. Eventually these feelings build up and a climax is imminent. A supernova.

The final draped dress resembles a dying star in a cloud of fabric. Designed with adjustablity in mind the side can be gathered and ungathered accordingly to the wearer’s body. Additionaly the strap around the neck can be undone and the dress can be worn as a skirt.
