Fashioning Bioplastics
Bioplastics are becoming an increasing field of interest in the fashion industry. In collaboration with the Material Design Lab at KEA I developed bioplastic samples which would lead to a final garment with my teammates, Claire Peterman, Lauren Smith, Oriana Lemons, and Sienna Stolte. We were inspired by the nature of Copenhagen in the summer and utilized laser cutting and zero waste pattern making methods to create the final garment.
